There’s nothing like the taste of freshly picked strawberries. It’s hard to describe the juiciness and flavours – you won’t get it from any supermarket! And there’s no better day out with the family than hunting through our patch to find the perfect strawberry.
We’ve been running pickings at our farm since 1975, and never missed a season. It’s become an Adelaide institution during the warmer months, usually from November to April.
Always check the homepage of our website to check we're open before coming, because sometimes (particularly on weekends), we are so busy that we simply get what we call "picked out". All the ripe berries have been picked and the plants need time for their green, young fruit to ripen. So we close the patch for a few days here and there to allow this to happen.
A patch closure can also happen if we get a long spell of really hot weather and the berries really suffer and we need time for new fruit to grow. Having said that, we are open most days through the season, so we look forward to welcoming you really soon!
Check the top right hand side of our homepage on the day you intend to visit to check that our patch is open.
