Tuna Bake with Caramelised Onion

The Caramelised Onion that Dean hates to share

  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • 1 tablespoon of cornflour
  • 2 tablespoons of Beerenberg Caramelised Onion
  • 125g tin of tuna, drained
  • 1 cup of milk
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 100g shredded tasty cheddar


In a heavy based saucepan heat butter on a low heat. Add the corn flour and combine. Using a whisk, slowly add milk until fully combined. Add tuna and Beerenberg Caramelised Onion. Remove from heat and season to taste. Pour into baking ramekins and top with grated cheese. Grill for 5 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with garden salad.
