Salami, Mushroom and Three Cheese Toastie

  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 3-4 mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 tablespoon Beerenberg Toastie Relish
  • 2 thick slices good quality bread
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 80g salami
  • 20g cheddar, grated
  • 20g mozzarella, grated
  • 20g provolone, grated


Heat a small frypan over medium heat.  Add the olive oil, mushrooms and garlic, and cook for 3 minutes or until mushrooms are golden.  Turn the heat to low and add the Beerenberg Toastie Relish.  Cook for two minutes before removing from the heat.

Spread the butter on the outside of each slice of bread.  On the inside, layer the salami, mushrooms and cheeses.  Cook in a sandwich press until golden brown.
