Beerenberg Story
From humble beginnings in the Adelaide Hills, Beerenberg Farm has become a household name in Australia and its delicious products are now found in dozens of countries around the world.
Awarded the Telstra South Australian Business of the Year 2011, Beerenberg uses the freshest farm produce and traditional recipes to make home-style jams, condiments, sauces, dressings, dessert sauces and olive oil. The result is mouth-watering products with no added artificial flavours, colours or preservatives.
Beerenberg is an Australian-owned company based at Hahndorf, 30 minutes from Adelaide's CBD. All products are made on the farm, which has been in the family since 1839, when the Paech family settled in Hahndorf.
Since the first batch of strawberry jam was made in 1971, Beerenberg has expanded its range to over 60 products, and has been exporting since 1986. Pioneering the concept of portion serves in Australia was a major milestone for the company, securing significant airline and hotel supply contracts.
Beerenberg remains passionately Australian made and owned, and our products can now be found in 24 countries, on major airlines and in more than 300 hotels.
