Chocolate Brownie Slice
Ingredients:
1 cup Beerenberg Apple Sauce
1 egg
1/2 cup sugar
Dash each of vanilla and salt
3/4 cup cocoa powder
1 cup self-raising flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp bi-carb soda
Method:
Place apple sauce into bowl with egg, sugar, vanilla, salt and cocoa powder. Mix well.
Sift flour, baking powder and bi-carb soda. Fold gently into apple mixture.
Pour into flat greased and lined cake tin.
Bake at 180C for about 20 minutes.
Let cool in tin slightly, before turning out to cool.
Dust with icing and cocoa powder.
Cut into 12 squares.
