Strawberries with Marsala Cream

Ingredients:

  • 2 punnets Beerenberg strawberries

  • 1 cup cream

  • 1/3 cup sugar

  • 2 egg whites

  • 2 tbs Marsala


Method:

  1. Wash and hull strawberries, slice in half and put into six individual serving glasses.

  2. Beat cream and sugar until soft peaks form.

  3. Beat egg whites in a separate bowl, until stiff, and fold with Marsala into cream.

  4. To serve, spoon Marsala cream over strawberries and serve immediately.
