Our Strawberry Farm

Beerenberg Strawberry Farm is at the eastern end of the Hahndorf main street. Hahndorf is in the Mount Lofty Ranges, 28km from Adelaide and just a short drive up the South-Eastern Freeway from the city.

The farm is open every day (except Christmas Day) from 9am to 5pm and employs 40 people and grows strawberries, cherries, gherkins, plums, rose petals and hot chillies.

During the strawberry season (mid/late October to May) you can:

• Pick your own strawberries.

• Try our freshly picked strawberries and ice-cream.

• Stroll along the beautiful rose covered walkway and enjoy the perfume of pink roses that are harvested for the production of our famous rose petal jam.

Year-round attractions include:

• The farm shop, where you can buy Beerenberg products, jars of old-fashioned lollies and other gift ideas.

• The jam kitchen.

• The farm's original barn, built in the 1840s and featured on our Beerenberg labels.

• The original German wagon, used by pioneer farmers in our local district
